Question of the day...

Who will be more successful, the protesters who have attempted to file complaints with the St. Paul Police Department about police procedures related to the Republican National Convention, or the Bulgarian women's ice hockey team in Olympic qualifying?

Bulgaria, has set the bar, albeit quite low: they scored just one goal while allowing 153 goals in just three games. That's right, three games. The team lost 30-1 to Croatia and 41-0 to Italy before taking the ice for the biggest drubbing in International Ice Hockey Federation history. The women lost 82-0 to Slovakia, whose coach later said "We took it as training."

That's one in the column for the Bulgarians. On the other hand, the 10 to 20 people who have attempted to file complaints with the internal affairs unit of the St. Paul Police Department have been even less successful. Because none of the complaints have been signed, the Police Department is not moving forward with any type of investigation.

Furthermore, it's being reported that the independent review of police planning and tactics during last week's RNC will not be investigating any allegations of excessive force by the police.

Stay tuned for the results.
